Editor's Pick: If your homemade sourdough never gets that crisp crust, it's usually because the steam escapes the oven. This pot traps moisture under the lid, so the dough surface puffs into a thin, golden, crackly crust. The set includes a proofing basket and silicone handle covers—just knead, proof in the basket, then lift it right into the pot, no fussing with parchment paper. The cast iron pot also works directly on the stovetop, so you can use it for stews after baking bread.
