Editor's Pick: This is a full remake of the classic SFC game, with graphics upgraded from pixel art to 3D modeling while preserving Tomomi Kobayashi's original character art style. The gameplay inherits the original's nonlinear narrative—you can freely decide which of the Seven Heroes to fight first and how to expand your empire, and every choice affects how the story unfolds. Battles have changed from the original turn-based system to a timeline system, and with over 30 classes and races, there's plenty of room for team building. If you enjoy Japanese RPGs or played the original and want to revisit it, give this one a try.
