: I've bought hoses of different brands, types, and materials from Costco, Home Depot, and Lowe's, and my conclusion is that all hoses exposed to intense sun in California are consumables. Until about two years ago, I suddenly noticed that many nurseries, including Armstrong, Home Depot, Lowe's, and some private nurseries, had all switched to using the same type of hose. I also tried buying one, and it's been working well so far, though the downside is it's a bit pricey. Their hoses are very easy to identify; regular hoses are round, but theirs are hexagonal. 买过Costco,Home Depot, Lowe's中不同牌子，类型和材质的水管，得出的结论就是在加州经过暴晒的水管全是消耗品。直到前两年突然发现好多家苗圃包括Armstrong, Home Depot, Lowe's和一些私人苗圃都更换使用同一种水管后，我也尝试买了一根，至今工作良好，缺点是有点小贵。它家的水管很好辨认，一般水管是圆形，它家的是六边形。
