: I need to vent about Ashford's shipping policy and customer service. I placed an order worth $360, and their website states that orders over $350 require a signature upon delivery. UPS left a note because I wasn't home. On the first day, I signed the back of the note to authorize package release, but the next day, they left another note. Since I work during the day, I didn't see it until I got home at night. On the third day, I frantically called UPS, and they said only the sender could authorize the release or redirect the package to a pickup point, so I had to contact the sender. When I tried calling Ashford, no one answered. Leaving a voicemail or emailing them only got a response once a day. Now my package has been returned, and Ashford says they'll refund me once they receive it—but they'll charge a return fee. I was like WTF and sent a long email to complain. Now I'm planning to just dispute the charge with my credit card company. If you're planning to buy something and no one's home during the day, either keep the order under $350 or call Ashford in advance to have them send it to a pickup location. Don't bother dealing with UPS—they're already a pain, and pairing them with an unresponsive retailer just makes things worse. 我吐槽一下ashford他们家的shipping policy和customer service。我下了一单360刀，他们网站是超过350刀的订单就要签字签收。然后UPS因为我不在家给我留条了，第一天我签了纸条背后想release package，结果他第二天又给我贴了张条，而我因为白天上班晚上才回家看到。我第三天一早就疯狂给UPS打电话他们说只有sender才能release或者选择放在自提点，让我去contact sender。然后我去找ashford打电话根本没有人接。留言/发邮件也是一天才回一次。现在我的package被return了，然后ashford说等收到了给我退钱但是要charge return fee。我当时就wtf然后发邮件complain了一大通。现在打算直接信用卡dispute了。大家要买东西，家里白天又没人的话，要么别超过350刀，要么你提前给ashford打电话让他们给你放在自提点。别费劲去找ups了。本来ups就已经很讨厌了，加上不给力的电商更是雪上加霜
