回复 @匿名用户 : Even if they say that, the computing power and bandwidth are far inferior. If the VRAM doesn't explode, the M4 Max is outperformed by the 4090. The 4090 with 48G of modified VRAM is sufficient for most small to medium models, whereas running larger models on a Mac feels like a toy. 说是这么说，算力和带宽差远了，不爆显存的话M4 Max被4090吊起来打。4090 48G魔改也够大部分中小模型了，更大的模型Mac跑起来就是玩具

: If you're doing large model research, labs definitely provide professional compute cards. If you're running large models locally, I don't feel like there's a big need for it... 如果做大模型研究，实验室肯定提供专业计算卡，如果自己本地运行大模型，感觉没啥大必要。。。
