Editor's Pick: Want to teach your kid chess but worried the rules are too boring? This set turns every piece into a character with a story, so a 3-year-old can remember how the knight moves and how the bishop moves after hearing the story just once. The pieces are chunky and brightly colored, perfect for playing on the carpet all afternoon. Don't know how to play chess yourself? No problem, just follow the storybook and learn while you teach. It makes a great gift for friends with young kids, and they'll build logic skills while having fun.
