Editor's Pick: By the time you notice a leak in the basement or laundry room, it's often too late. This alarm system uses Sub1G wireless signals to send alerts to your phone even through several walls, with a range of up to 1,804 feet (550 meters). Once water is detected, besides app push notifications, text messages, and email alerts, the device itself will flash a red light and sound an alarm up to 105 decibels. With an IP67 waterproof rating, it can still work after being splashed or briefly submerged and dried off. You can adjust the volume across four levels in the app, so you can turn it down at night if it's too loud. The battery is rated to last 5 years, so you basically don't have to worry about it after setup. The gateway only supports 2.4G WiFi, so pay attention to the model when pairing.
