Editor's Pick: Sitting on the patio or under a carport in summer can feel stifling overhead, and installing a ceiling fan makes the breeze much more comfortable. This is a plug-in model, so no special wiring is needed, and it comes with both fixed and movable hooks so you can hang it wherever you like. It is IP65 waterproof, so a little rain or heavy humidity is no problem. The remote adjusts 6 fan speeds and a timer, and can also reverse the airflow; in winter, directing the air upward helps circulate heat. The motor is a DC inverter type, so it runs quietly and won't disturb your sleep.
