I had been looking forward to it all day, waited at home, and opened the box as soon as the courier arrived, only to find 5 gifts missing. On top of that, both the gift set and the purchase set felt dusty to the touch, and the purchased set box even had noticeable scratches. But since I'm keeping it for myself, I just let it slide. In the past, whether buying from the official website or Nordstrom, unboxing La Mer or picking up in-store always felt special and emotionally satisfying. This time though, it felt like La Mer has suddenly become just like any other ordinary product. For the first time ever, after unboxing La Mer, I just wanted to throw away the signature green box right away—because it was dusty, the green paper was carelessly thrown in, and it felt like the whole big package was just stuffed with a bunch of useless paper. I also checked the dates: the purchased items are about a year or nine months out, which is acceptable, but the gifted 1oz essence and some minis were over two years old. Since they were free gifts, I just let it go. I really hope La Mer can step up their delivery and presentation game in the future. When customers feel that emotional value during unboxing at home, they’ll genuinely want to shop again and again. For example, every time I unbox from Sisley, there’s this luxurious scent, sturdy and new packaging, and well-designed boxes—I never want to throw any of them away, and it keeps me wanting to buy more. Anyone else feel the same way? 说真的我对这次 la mer的新年活动送货很不满意,心心念念在家等了一天快递员送到然后马上拆箱,发现少了5个gift,而且送的和买的套盒上一摸感觉一层灰,而且买的套盒上有明显的划痕,但是也是自己用,所以也就算了。之前买lamer无论是官网还是nordstrom给人的感觉都是送到货拆箱或者直接到店拿货的时候都有满满的情绪价值,这一次,感觉lamer突然跟其他一般的产品没有什么区别了。而且这是第一次我拆完lamer,就想马上把那标志性的绿色lamer盒子赶紧丢掉,因为一摸一层灰,绿色的纸铺的也很随意,就感觉偌大的package里装了一堆垃圾纸。 也查了一下日期,买的产品都在一年左右或者9个月也还行,送的1oz的精华还有一些小样的有2年多的历史了,不过看在是送的份上就算了。希望la mer以后可以在送货上加把劲吧,客户在家里开箱的时候如果感觉到了情绪价值,真的会想再多买几次,比如Sisley我每次开箱真的都是很高级的香味,还有很结实很新还有设计感的盒子,我没有一次舍得扔掉,结果就一直想买, 不知道这次有没有姐妹跟我有类似的想法。
