回复 @yimohuang : Solar panels and inverters are indeed another source of income, but having a plug-in hybrid usually makes things easier—most people find a 1.5kW output sufficient. For a regular gas car, adding an 800W inverter doesn't seem very cost-effective, and those generators aren't really meant for that kind of use... The blogger you're watching is pretty resourceful, though. Those rain shelters aren't cheap either—just the tent alone costs 150, and a permanent rain shelter requires pouring concrete, which is definitely not something a klutz like me can handle [sigh]. 太阳能板/逆变器确实是另一笔收入，不过如果有个插电混动车通常会好一些，基本大家都是1.5kw输出都够了，普通油车加800w逆变器好像不是很划算，那些发电机并不是让你这么发电的…你看的博主还挺会弄的，这些防雨棚也不便宜。光tent就150了，永久防雨棚还得浇水泥，可不是我这种手残党能弄的![[叹气]](/assets/emoji/comment-emoji/dm_tanqi@2x.png?v=1)

A gas generator, if well-maintained, can easily last 20 years with no issues—of course, that's assuming you only use it during power outages, not daily. If used daily, the battery lasts about 3-4 years, while a gas generator lasts 8-10 years. The downside of electric is simply the ongoing cost, not the upfront investment; for gas, it's the noise and ventilation (plus a dedicated rain shelter). 电池基本10年基本就gg了，油机保养的好用20年一点问题没有，当然前提是你只是停电用不是天天用。天天用大概电池也就三四年，油机8到十年。电就是单纯的贵而不是前期投入，油是噪音和通风(还需要专门的防雨棚)

回复 @放大不带纸 : Just spend 500 bucks on a 6x4, that's enough to fit the generator and some small accessories! Yeah, that base alone costs a few hundred bucks too! All together, it's under 2,000! Accessories plus DIY labor! 你就花500块 买一个6x4 , 就够放下 发电机 和一些小配件！ 的确 那个底座也要好几百块！ 全部加起来 2千不到！配件加自己动手！
