Editor's Pick: If your home mainly has tile, sealed hardwood, and other hard floors, and you want to cut down on the hassle of adding cleaning solutions when mopping day to day, take a look at this Shark S1000 steam mop. It heats water to create steam and is ready to clean in about 30 seconds, making everyday removal of grease and stains from floors easier. The whole unit weighs under 5 lbs (2.3 kg), so it's easy to carry between rooms or store; the detachable water tank makes refilling convenient, and the 18 ft (5.5 m) power cord helps reduce the hassle of constantly switching outlets. The mop comes with 2 textured microfiber mop pads that trap dirt and help scrub away tougher messes, and they're machine washable for easy reuse. The body swivels flexibly, making it easier to clean around furniture.
