Editor's Pick: Kids around one year old are still learning how to grip and press down on a pen, and this teardrop shape is just right for small hands to grab. The triangular design also keeps them from rolling off the table onto the floor. The crayons themselves are sturdy—dropping them from the high chair a few times didn't break them. The colors are bright and show up clearly on paper, and if they get on hands, a quick rinse with water washes them off, making cleanup a breeze.
