Editor's Pick: My one-year-old won't put this piano down — the light-up keys instantly grab their attention. Five keys correspond to five different animals, each playing its own sound, so they can hear the frog, puppy, and kitten in turn. There are four modes to switch between: the whack-a-mole mode builds reaction skills, and the music mode is just for enjoying melodies. There's even a little bug activity station on the side — squeeze the bee to make it squeak, and spin the ladybug beads for a rattling sound. It's compact enough to toss in the diaper bag, so it keeps them quietly entertained in the car too.
