Editor's Pick: When kids are just learning to move around on their own, this four-wheel wooden ride-on is more stable than a three-wheel version, so you don't have to worry about it tipping over when they sit on it. The wheels are wrapped in rubber, so gliding across the living room hardwood floor won't scratch it. Short-distance gliding helps them practice their legs and balance, and the body uses water-based paint, so it's safe even if little ones hold onto it and chew on it.
