Editor's Pick: Halloween is coming up, and if you're looking for a themed English picture book for your little one, this one fits the bill. Kids already love the Pete the Cat character, and paired with a story adapted from the classic nursery rhyme "Five Little Pumpkins," it reads with a fun, sing-song rhythm. The sentences are simple and repetitive, so kids just starting to learn English can follow along easily. The colors are bright and vivid, making it a breeze to flip through a few pages at bedtime.
