The CPU is the next-generation M4 chip, built on a 3nm process with a new display engine and 6 performance cores, offering a 50% improvement over the M2. The 10-core GPU can achieve M2-level performance at half the power. It also features an NPU specifically designed for AI acceleration, capable of 38 trillion operations per second—far outperforming current AI PCs—plus enhanced cooling with 20% improved graphite thermal components.

Note that in this update, the 256GB and 512GB models with the M4 chip are slightly downgraded compared to the 1TB and 2TB versions, primarily with reduced central processing and performance cores.
