Editor's Pick: Standard pencil lead snaps easily when marking wood, but this 2.8mm thick lead holds up much better under pressure. The sharpener built into the tail end means you can just give it a couple of twists when it dulls—no need to hunt for a blade across the job site. It also reaches into deep holes for marking, and swapping lead is as easy as inserting a new one; four spare leads will last you a while.
