Editor's Pick: Lilly is a bit stubborn, and she insists on bringing her favorite thing to school, only to have it confiscated by the teacher. The story follows how she sulks, how she talks it out with her family, and how she comes to understand things on her own. The art style features large blocks of watercolor, with few words — perfect for kids just starting elementary school to flip through on their own, and also great as a bedtime read-aloud for parent-child time.
