Editor's Pick: When picking an instrument for little ones, durability matters most. This ukulele features an ABS plastic body with a smooth finish, so small hands can hold it without worrying about scratches. The four stainless steel strings produce a crisp sound once tuned and are resistant to breaking, so kids can strum freely without worry. The 17-inch size is just right for kids ages 3-6, and it easily fits in a bag for picnics or trips to grandma's house. It also looks great as a decorative piece at home, adding a musical touch to a kids' room.
