Starbucks has announced that starting September 29, 2025, they will introduce new permanent menu items at their US and Canadian locations: Protein Cold Foam and Protein Lattes.

Protein Cold Foam: Can be added to cold beverages, providing approximately 15-26 grams of protein. Available in multiple flavors including banana, vanilla (with sugar-free/reduced sugar options), chocolate, matcha, salted caramel, brown sugar, and seasonal options like pumpkin and pecan.

Protein Lattes: Made with specially formulated "protein-enhanced milk," each Grande size contains approximately 27-36 grams of protein with a smooth, rich texture. Customers can substitute this milk in any dairy-containing beverage such as lattes, Iced Shaken Espresso, and coconut milk cold drinks, adding an extra 12-16 grams of protein.
