Editor's Pick: If you want to make pour-over coffee at home, cranking the grinder is actually pretty relaxing. The 40-step external adjustment lets you change the coarseness without taking it apart, handling everything from espresso to French press. The ceramic conical burr barely heats up during grinding, so the beans keep their aroma. The handle is a bit longer, so grinding a cup of medium-dark roast won't wear out your arm, and the glass catch chamber lets you see exactly how much you've ground. It stores compactly and is easy to bring camping or to the office.
