Editor's Pick: When a few kids come over on the weekend, just have them put on the vests and split into teams, and the battle begins — the backyard or living room can become the battlefield. Both the guns and vests are rechargeable, so no last-minute digging through drawers for batteries. One charge lasts for about eight rounds of play.

There's a sensor point on the chest and one on the gun, and you'll get an alert when you're hit, so kids stay fully engaged running, dodging, and aiming. It uses infrared rather than a real laser, so there's no sensation when hit, giving parents peace of mind while watching nearby. If you want to add more players later, you can buy guns and vests separately, and the sets can connect with each other.
