[Expired]Be Careful When Buying Memory Cards for Nintendo Switch 2
Recently restocked Nintendo Switch 2 has a "pitfall" you must know: it only supports the brand new microSD Express storage cards.
Regular microSD cards can only store screenshots and videos, not for installing or running games. To avoid the "Game data cannot be read" error message at startup, you need to get a high-speed card now.
- What is microSD Express?
Despite the familiar name, it's not the card you're used to.
While the same size as regular microSD cards, its speed is dramatically faster with reading speeds up to 900MB/s and writing speeds up to 500MB/s, almost matching SSD performance, specifically designed for Switch 2's high-speed loading.
Currently, there aren't many Express cards on the market supporting Switch 2. Before they become scarce and prices skyrocket, here are a few recommendations based on your budget:

: Let's not even talk about the price. The NS2 allows key cards and download codes, and games are inevitably getting larger. 128/256 doesn't feel like it'll be enough. : Regular TF cards cannot be used to store games or screenshots. They can only be used to import screenshots, and must be removed after importing. 普通tf卡不仅不能用来存游戏，也不能用来存截图。只能用来导入截图，导入完之后必须拔掉。
