Apple's 2026 Back-to-School promotion has already launched in select Asian countries and regions. Eligible college students and teachers can get free Apple accessories or gift cards when purchasing qualifying MacBooks or iPads through the Apple Education Store. Currently, the promotion has not officially started in the US, Canada, and Europe, but Apple Stores are expected to roll out back-to-school promotional materials this week, with the US launch expected in the coming days.
In last year's US back-to-school event, purchasing a qualifying MacBook earned up to $179 in accessory savings, while buying a qualifying iPad earned up to $129 in accessory savings, with options including AirPods, Apple Pencil, or Magic Keyboard. This year, some Asian regions have switched to offering a four-pack of AirTags or Apple Gift Cards, so we're all excited to see whether the US will continue offering AirPods and Apple Pencil or switch to a new gift option 😍
