To all pioneers ready for the adventure, "Arknights: Endfield" is finally launching! For North American players, the servers will open at 10 PM on January 21st (New York time). You can play on PC, console, or mobile, and pre-downloading starts on January 20th.

Whether you're using Epic, the official launcher, PlayStation Store, or the App Store/Android Store, you can install the game in advance and jump right in when servers open.

Don't panic at the start, and don't rush to chase high-star characters. The most important thing early on is to establish your core team: find one or two damage dealers, then add a healer or shield character. Focus your resources on them, level them up, and clearing content will become much easier. Low-cost combinations are sufficient for most early content. Once you've accumulated enough resources, you can try building fire teams, ice teams, or spell synergy teams. Core characters for each system are high-value choices.

Combat doesn't test your speed, but rather your strategy. Skill stacking and energy cycling are key to damage output. Using ice teams as an example: first stack cold layers, trigger combo skills, then unleash your ultimate ability. This cycle helps refill energy. Physical teams, burn teams, and magic synergy teams follow similar logic. Master these cycles, and you can achieve good damage output with lower-star characters, without relying on high-star units.

For character development, plan your levels, skills, potential, and specializations carefully. The equipment system includes regular, modified, and exclusive weapons. The key focus is matrix inlays: stat bonuses must correspond to weapon attributes to maximize power. Matrix drops have randomness, but enhancement is controllable. Once you get the right matrix, reaching end-game gear is mostly a matter of time. This way, your core team will continue to grow even in the late stages, rather than being limited by luck.

The base-building gameplay is another highlight. Laying conveyor belts, building turrets, and setting up production lines will produce materials that directly serve equipment crafting and character development, and can even be exchanged for gacha resources. The game integrates the entire process into the main storyline and quests, progressing gradually without overwhelming new players while providing a sense of achievement. Start slow in the early game, and by mid to late game, you'll be steadily producing key resources, making exploration and development much smoother.
