"Ocarina of Time" Remake, "Kingdom Hearts 4" Revealed, New "Xenoblade Chronicles" Game
June isn't even halfway over yet, and we've already had four major gaming events—the Big Three press conferences and the Summer Game Fest—bringing a flood of first-party and third-party announcements, from debut reveals to release date confirmations.
The highlight is that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake has finally been announced, with a release planned within 26. The original Ocarina of Time is a landmark in gaming history, with its groundbreaking design shaping countless 3D games that followed. It holds a 99 on Metacritic and tops many all-time video game rankings. Unfortunately, no actual gameplay footage or release date was shown this time, and it will likely face some competition from GTA 6 on the calendar.
A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 was revealed. The Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, and 3 Collection will be released on October 8.
Fire Emblem will launch on Switch 2 on September 17.
Xenoblade Chronicles Genesis was announced with a teaser trailer, coming to Switch 2 in 2027. The first three Xenoblade Chronicles games will receive Switch 2 versions with 60FPS and 4K resolution support in docked mode.
Star Fox will launch on June 25, with a demo available now to download and play.
