GTA 6 PC Version May Launch Early Next Year

No need to wait two more years this time?

PC players may not have to wait as long this time! According to sources from GamesBeat, Rockstar Games' highly anticipated title GTA 6 is expected to arrive on PC in Q1 2027.

Currently, the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S console versions are set to launch on November 19, 2026. If the report holds true, PC players may only need to wait about 4–5 more months before they can jump in, rather than enduring nearly two years like they did with GTA 5.

⏰ Two generations of GTA: How much does the PC wait time differ?

Version Comparison	Console Launch	PC Release	Wait Time
GTA 5	September 2013	April 2015	About 19 months
GTA 6	November 2026	Q1 2027 (estimated)	About 4–5 months

Of course, the above timeline still needs to be confirmed by Rockstar, and the specific PC release date has not been officially announced yet.

🎮 GTA 6 hasn't even launched yet, and it's already putting pressure on competitors?

Just how huge is the hype around GTA 6? According to reports, some game publishers are even considering avoiding the fall 2026 window to steer clear of going head-to-head with this blockbuster.

If the PC version really does follow in early 2027, it would undoubtedly be good news for players who don't plan on buying a console. However, given that Rockstar has always been cautious about PC release timing, everyone should probably hold off on scheduling vacation days just yet.
