Unlike the common triangle or diamond pixel arrangements found in traditional OLEDs, this screen uses a Real RGB Stripe layout with sub-pixels aligned side by side. This design significantly reduces color fringing around text edges, making on-screen text sharper and effectively addressing clarity issues in productivity tasks.
🔹 Process Innovation & Cost Advantage
Traditional OLED manufacturing heavily relies on vacuum thermal evaporation and fine metal masks (FMM). In contrast, inkjet printing technology directly deposits organic materials, greatly simplifying the production process. It is reported that this panel series began mass production at the Wuhan factory in November 2024, and its commercial use suggests that future high-performance gaming laptops could become more competitively priced.
Currently, this model is primarily available in the Chinese market, starting at ¥11,999. Given Lenovo's product strategy, more details on specs, pricing, and availability will be announced closer to the launch.
