: Last year during Black Friday, I had a package sent to the wrong address by UPS. They claimed it was delivered at 10 PM, I got out of bed to search but found nothing. Instead, there was a neighbor's suitcase package that should've been delivered a few houses down, left at my garage door. I delivered the suitcase to the neighbor's door but still couldn't find my package. The next morning, I searched around the neighbors again—still nothing. Estée Lauder also told me to file a lost package claim with UPS first. After UPS investigated for a few days, they confirmed it was lost. At one point, UPS closed my case claiming I didn't respond to their queries, but I had to request it reopened. Once UPS officially confirmed the loss online, I contacted Estée Lauder again, and they resent my order per my request. 去年黑五买的试过被UPS送错地址。大半夜10点多说送到了，我从床上爬起来出门一通找都没有，反而有应该送到隔了几家的邻居家的行李箱包裹丢在了我车库门口。我把邻居的行李箱送到她家门口，看了没有我的包裹。第二天早上不死心又在周围邻居家再找一次还是没有。雅诗兰黛一样的要我先去UPS申报丢失包裹。UPS调查后过了几天给我确认是丢了。中间UPS还说我没有回复UP他们的查询把我的case关了又在我要求下重新open。然后UPS在网上正式给我的case做出确认后我再找雅诗兰黛她们就根据我的要求补发了一份给我。

回复 @匿名用户 : If your courier is also UPS, you need to stay on top of them. I feel like they don’t actually investigate—they just drag it out for a few days and call it "done." If you don’t push them, they won’t act. Since it’s not their loss—either yours or the merchant’s—they have zero motivation. But if you persist, they’ll eventually confirm it’s lost, and then you can request a refund or reshipment from the merchant. 如果你的快递公司也是UPS的话你要盯紧点。我感觉他们根本就不做任何调查，很随意的拖几天就算是查过了。你要是不盯着他们，他们就不动。反正损失的不是他们，要不是你要不是商家，他们是一点动力都没有的。但是只要你不放弃，他们应该就会给你确认是丢失了，然后你可以找商家退款或者补发。
