Editor's Pick: As the second official LEGO set in collaboration with Star Trek, 11385 faithfully recreates the iconic bridge of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 in brick form, marking a monumental tribute to the 60th anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series. The set includes 1,701 pieces (a number that pays homage to the NCC-1701 registry).
Compared to last year's Enterprise-D set that focused on the entire starship exterior, this new release shifts the spotlight to the bridge and transporter room that fans know and love. It not only recreates classic scenes like the command chair, main viewscreen, and computer consoles but also features several interactive elements: the captain's chair can rock to simulate the ship's impact during attacks; turning a knob recreates the classic "transporter" effect; and pulling a lever opens the turbolift doors. It's highly interactive, balancing display and playability.
The minifigure lineup is equally impressive, featuring all eight core crew members of the USS Enterprise, plus four adorable Tribbles (fluffy creatures) and classic props from the series such as Spock's harp, the Vulcan Lirpa weapon, and the Trident Scanner. The details and Easter eggs are abundant.
If you're a longtime Star Trek fan, this set is undoubtedly a nostalgic collector's piece worth owning. Even if you haven't followed the series, it's a beautifully crafted display model with a retro sci-fi vibe. Paired with the previous Enterprise-D set, it completes the ultimate collection for any Star Trek enthusiast.
