Editor's Pick: As a timeless classic in Nintendo gaming history, Donkey Kong holds a special place in the hearts of countless gamers. This new LEGO set, 72051, faithfully recreates the iconic 1981 arcade machine as a brick-built model, making it a must-have for retro gaming fans and LEGO enthusiasts alike.
The set includes 1,367 pieces and not only captures the arcade cabinet's look in stunning detail, but also recreates the iconic scaffolding, ladders, and hammer, along with the three classic characters: Donkey Kong, Jumpman (Mario's predecessor), and Lady. What's even more exciting is that it's not just a display model—pull the lever on the side and barrels roll down one by one; use the joystick and press the button to make Jumpman move left and right and jump over barrels, faithfully bringing the classic arcade gameplay to life with plenty of interactive fun.
Designed for adult builders aged 18+, this set stands approximately 39cm tall when completed, making it a wonderfully nostalgic addition to any game room, study, or office desk. For longtime Nintendo fans, arcade enthusiasts, or those who already own the Pac-Man Arcade 10323, this new release is a heartfelt collectible worth adding to your stash.
