🛠 Program Overview

Stanley's Take Back program encourages users to recycle their unused Stanley steel or stainless steel products instead of discarding them, allowing materials to be reused and reducing waste.

Recycling Process and Rewards

Registration and Submission: Log in or register for a Stanley1913.com account, submit a recycling request, and receive a free shipping label.

 

Return Options: Choose to pack and ship items back (Stanley pays for shipping) or drop off at partner recycling locations using your code or label.

 

Dismantling and Recycling: Stanley professionally dismantles received products and sends steel and stainless steel components to compliant recycling facilities for reuse in other products.

 

Reward System:

 

• For each eligible product recycled, users receive $5 in Stanley shopping credits/vouchers (maximum of 4 items per year, up to $20) 

 

• Additionally, Stanley donates $5 to the Ocean Conservancy (with an annual donation cap of $200,000)

Participation Rules and Limitations

Only available to users in the continental United States (48 states) (Alaska and Hawaii are currently not covered)

 

Products accepted for recycling must be complete Stanley steel or stainless steel collections products (must include the main body) 

 

Accessories, partial components, non-Stanley brand products, or non-steel parts are not accepted

 

Maximum of 4 recycling requests per person/account per year, reward codes have expiration dates and cannot be combined with other promotions (specific terms apply)

Program Significance

Environmental Sustainability: Prevents products from ending up in landfills and extends material lifecycle

 

User Incentives: Encourages users to participate in environmentally friendly practices through rewards

 

Social Responsibility: Stanley also contributes to environmental causes through donations supporting ocean conservation and other public welfare projects
