According to Aju Business Daily, the new model equipped with 17-inch wheels has seen its official fuel economy rating improve by 10%, delivering exceptional fuel efficiency alongside more powerful performance.

🔹 North American Market Outlook

Currently, the EPA rates the current Elantra Hybrid with 16-inch wheels at 54 MPG in the U.S. The 2026 U.S.-spec model is expected to make its debut soon. Despite the new model's increased weight and 16-horsepower boost, its 17-inch version still holds strong with a combined fuel economy of around 50 MPG, matching the Korean version.
