The iPhone has become my backup. NT&T is a total trap — bad signal and mediocre service, and they rip off their loyal customers. Now on my commute in Brooklyn, except for the segment coming off the bridge, I can watch YouTube the whole way. With NT&T before, I only had signal at the platform — the moment I left it, no signal, couldn't watch anything. 真以为赚到了？我之前在NT&T3条线每月200，10多年老用户，突然给我涨了10刀，没任何通知，当初一部抵换1000，火大，上月直接把所有费用结清，现在换用Total公司的，4部一个月80，信号比NT&T好不说，一年省1部手机。关键长期用不用再被盘剥，想用啥手机亚马逊自己买，税钱都省了。买了2025年摩托罗拉1部，大爱，扩展卡，快充，音频接口，手写笔该有的全有了，平时看看视频，速度上并没感觉比我Pro max 慢，苹果沦为备胎。NT＆T就是个坑，信号差不说，服务还不咋样，宰的都是老客户。我现在布鲁伦通勤地铁，除了布鲁伦出桥那段没信号，其他全程看看YouTube ，以前用NT&T，除了站台有信号，一离开站台就没信号无法看视频。

Apple's power saving is all achieved by sacrificing signal and single-thread performance—when the phone is idle, it lowers the signal to avoid maintaining a connection with the cell tower. Pay attention and you'll notice: when you start a call on an iPhone, the signal bars suddenly jump up one or two; after being unused for a long time, the signal bars drop. Also, if you use it to track your kid's location, when the phone hasn't been used for a long time, the location gets locked out by the background process—even if you've enabled "Always" GPS permission, it's useless, and ultimately you can't locate it without actively using the phone. I now give my kid a Motorola, and my child is no longer obsessed with Apple—won't even use the Apple tablet I gave them. 如果不打游戏还是买摩托罗拉吧，苹果真的烂。再不会购买苹果手机，吹牛水平仅次遥遥领先，年年吹散热，年年不咋样，年年吹信号，还是烂的很。苹果的省电，都是以牺牲信号和单线程做的，没用时就把信号降低到免去保持和通讯塔连着，你自己留意看看，苹果开始打电话信号会突涨一到两格，长时间没用，它信号格就跌落了。而且如果用来跟踪小孩定位，如果长时间不用手机，定位自动被后台锁死，即便开发始终GPS权限都没用，最终导致不用它就定位不了。我现在给娃用摩托罗拉，小孩现在也不迷苹果了，给他苹果平板都不爱用。

回复 @sunO_o : Mainly because the ones bought in the US don't have a SIM card slot, so after the iPhone 13, I basically stopped buying iPhones in the US. 主要是美国买的没有电话卡槽，所以13之后，基本不在美国买iPhone了
