Samsung's newly released Galaxy Z Fold 7 is their thinnest and lightest foldable phone to date, measuring just 8.9mm thick when folded and weighing 215g. It features a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch AMOLED 2X main display, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, it offers up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, running Android 16 + One UI 8. The phone includes numerous Galaxy AI features (such as real-time translation and smart photo editing), a 200MP triple rear camera system, 4400mAh battery, 25W fast charging, and IP48 water/dust resistance. The US model starts at $1,999, with pre-orders beginning July 9 and official release on July 25. It's positioned as a thin, large-screen AI flagship device, emphasizing portability and productivity.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is Samsung's first flip-style foldable with a fully enclosed 4.1" FlexWindow cover display and a 6.9" main display (both supporting 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2600 nits brightness). Weighing just 188g with a folded thickness of 13.7mm, it features the Exynos 2500 3nm chip, 12GB RAM, a 50MP main camera with OIS, and a 4300mAh battery. It also supports Samsung DeX for a desktop-like experience and deeply integrates Galaxy AI features such as Gemini Live and Now Brief/Bar.

As for the budget-friendly Flip 7 FE, it largely maintains the design of the previous generation, keeping the 6.7" main display, 50MP main camera, and basic AI features. However, the cover display is reduced to 3.4", and it uses an Exynos 2400 processor with 8GB RAM and a 4000mAh battery. It still supports One UI 8 and Galaxy AI but doesn't include DeX functionality, focusing instead on affordability. Priced at approximately $899, it makes foldable technology accessible to more consumers.
