: Gaviota 5 / Mach 6 are not slip-resistant. The slip-resistant ones are the outdoor hiking waterproof series. Except for that stiff Bondi SR which is slip-resistant, be careful if you're using them as work shoes. If you mop the floor, you'll probably slip and fall! Because they are not slip-resistant at all... I think this is Hoka's shortcoming. The soles are not as slip-resistant as Skechers. Hoka is ridiculously expensive, why can't they just make a decent slip-resistant sole... Gaviota 5 / Mach 6 不防滑，有防滑都是戶外登山防水系列，除了那雙硬綁綁的Bondi SR是防滑，當工作鞋要小心，拖個地大概就滑死你了！ 因為一點都不止滑...我覺得這是Hoka的敗筆，鞋底都沒Skechers止滑，Hoka貴的要死，為何就不能好好做個像樣的止滑墊...

I didn't get the wide version at the time, and since I have a slightly high instep, I followed the online advice and bought one size larger than usual, which fits well.
