So I searched for how to deal with glare, and it turns out you need to buy a polarizing filter separately and install it? Then I searched for how to install it, and it turns out the polarizing filter needs to be attached to the front cover of the lens (I originally thought it was just a layer like a phone screen protector)? And they're not universal for every dash cam shape—some are round, some are square, some big, some small?? Then I searched for the price of dash cam polarizing filters, and the results showed that some dash cams come with a polarizing filter lens included. Does anyone have any tips to share? What should I do about glare in bright sunlight? Is it an installation angle issue? Or do I really need to buy a polarizing filter separately? Or is a polarizing filter just an IQ tax?
