In regards to customers believing they are receiving expired items, that is not true. Our QA team will routinely review products to ensure if they are still able to be sold, and in the case of the color correcting palette, after reviewing the batch, our QA team was able to extend the expiration date to 2022. Please note, that even though the batch code expiration is extended, the packaging will not be updated. As always, Stila will never ship expired products.
Also, if customers are using a third party app to determine expiration dates, those apps do not receive updated information from us, so they are often not accurate.There is not an app that we personally work with to share information regarding batch codes and expiration dates. These are usually third party companies that do their own independent research, and are not considered to be highly reliable.
