According to the editor, Costco might as well be called the "Asian Market" in America. With Chinese New Year approaching, the editor went to take photos of fresh food in the store and felt like they'd wandered into an Asian supermarket. It seems our Asian community has not only penetrated the procurement department but also gained significant influence - give them a round of applause!

Lamb rolls for $13.99 and beef rolls for $14.99, cheaper than 99 Ranch Market. For Chinese New Year, hosting a hot pot gathering is most convenient and brings good fortune and prosperity.

Worried about getting "internal heat"? Drink Wong Lo Kat herbal tea. Costco gets the perfect pairing of Wong Lo Kat and hot pot.

Now is the perfect season for Dungeness crab. These three large crabs cost around $50. Take them home to stir-fry with green onion and ginger, make spicy crab, or prepare Chaoshan seafood porridge.

This box of lobster tails costs around $40. Perfect for making lobster noodles.

Various flavors of Poke, each box costs just over $20.

They even have the perfect tableware for your Chinese New Year gatherings. $9.99, with a "long-lasting happiness" design.

New Year gatherings aren't complete without drinks. This koi fish-shaped Japanese whisky is very festive - may the new year bring continuous good fortune. Price: $79.99.

This is the editor's favorite Canadian ice wine, made from frozen grapes and released each winter. It's sweet as honey with a golden color. May 2026 also be sweet and golden.

Despite being winter, there's still a rich variety of fruits. Just not sure if these off-season cherries taste good. (A follower in the comments section pointed out that these cherries are from Chile in South America. It's actually summer in the Southern Hemisphere, so they're not off-season.)

Dragon fruit is rich in dietary fiber and promotes intestinal movement, especially suitable for those with constipation or trying to lose weight. After eating lots of rich food during the New Year, dragon fruit can help cleanse your intestines.

"Lychees from Chang'an" are no longer a rarity - Costco can fulfill your longan and lychee cravings.

The editor bought these red grapes - at $4.79, they're a great deal.

Now let me show you a wave of Asian snacks. They're perfect companions for watching movies on airplanes or in your living room.

The editor bought these fish floss rice crackers. Delicious! The rice crackers are especially crispy.

Quail eggs? The editor has seen them multiple times but never bought them. Waiting for reviews in the comments section.

Some kind of mixed grains and nuts snack. Many regions in China have their own local versions of this.

Durian cakes. The editor has tried these - the durian flavor is authentic, but personally finds them a bit too sweet.

Famous Macau almond cookies. The editor tried these too but didn't personally like them.

It's truly an Asian celebration here with snacks from China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. There are even international brands joining the Year of the Horse festivities.

This TikTok-famous hand soap really has great aesthetics at $27.99. It would make a nice gift for teenage girls.

February also has Valentine's Day, though it's been pushed to the sidelines by the lively Chinese New Year celebrations, with fewer products available.

This Belgian chocolate with Valentine's packaging wasn't in the main display area but tucked in a corner. At $12.59, the packaging is beautiful.

Speaking of flowers, you can also add some fresh flowers to your home for Chinese New Year to bring vitality. The editor photographed two with a bit of Chinese aesthetic.

Red Peach Tree. This variety is native to China, with vibrant red colors that bring a festive atmosphere!

Cut flowers for vases. Does anyone know what flowers these are? The editor thinks they have the resilient character of plum blossoms in snow.

Various spring flower seeds are also available now.

This hydrangea isn't a fresh flower but looks incredibly realistic, and amazingly, it feels real to the touch! The editor gave it a special feature. $29.99.

We've browsed from food to flowers, so let's return to food. There are still many Asian instant foods and condiments. The editor picked a few to show you.

The editor also bought this Chinese cured meat. Add a few slices when making soup, and it's incredibly flavorful.

Fish sauce. Friends from Fujian and Chaoshan regions probably use this condiment?

All-Purpose Japanese Kikkoman soy sauce. Everyone says this brand has no additives and very clean ingredients. But it's also reportedly very salty (supposedly because without preservatives, they need to increase the salt content). This is the editor's first time buying it, so we'll see if it lives up to expectations.

For the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first lunar month, enjoy these water-milled tangyuan (rice balls), $11.99.

Panda-shaped Synear custard buns, perfect as breakfast for kids. $13.68.

They even have bamboo steamers ready for you.

Here are two instant drink products the editor thinks are good. Perfect for warming up on winter mornings.

Just before leaving, the editor encountered the new viral blue and white porcelain Fenjiu liquor chocolates. The outer packaging resembles blue and white porcelain, while the filling contains Fenjiu liquor. It combines the elegance of traditional Chinese porcelain with the celebration of drinking and song.

The disappointment this time was not seeing other new Costco viral products like the mango pomelo sago, taro and lotus seed paste, and nougat. After checking the Costco app, another nearby store has them. But the editor has already spent $300 and can't justify another trip. Here's a tip: you can check store inventory on the Costco app by clicking "warehouse" at the bottom to avoid wasted trips.
