If you just listen to music or watch shows while, for example, running, you don't need it—the regular version is fine. But if you travel a lot by plane for work or whatever, you might want to consider the noise-cancelling one, because with noise cancellation, you can barely hear the plane noise. : The 4th and 3rd gen look about the same, so the fit should be pretty similar. But the Pro has switched to a semi in-ear design. I'm debating between buying the 2nd gen noise-cancelling or the 4th gen noise-cancelling. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the in-ear style of the 2 Pro—the longer I wear them, the itchier my ears get. 4代和3代看着差不多，佩戴感应该也差不多吧，不过pro改成半入耳式的了，我在想买2降噪还是4降噪，说实话我不太喜欢2 pro的入耳式，戴久了耳朵痒
