Editor's Pick: If you have cats or dogs at home, this machine noticeably cuts down on the fur and odors floating in the air. Among its three-layer filtration is a coconut shell carbon pre-filter that absorbs kitchen grease smells and pet odors. In sleep mode in the bedroom, it runs at only 37 decibels, quieter than the hum of a refrigerator, and the two-hour timer shuts it off automatically after you fall asleep. It covers a generous area, and you can roll it between the living room and bedroom without it taking up much space.
