Editor's Pick: The M5 update is primarily designed for the AI era. The CPU improvements are incremental, while the GPU has been enhanced mainly for AI computing. Combined with higher memory bandwidth at 153 GB/s, it's excellent for on-device AI processing. In comparison, current AMD and Intel MSDT with dual-channel LPDDR5x-9600 only offer just over 100GB/s bandwidth, which is barely sufficient for integrated graphics.
