: I personally don't quite agree... I've used the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro, the 2019 16-inch, and the 2023 14-inch. Just in terms of screen size, the 15-inch and 16-inch are much more comfortable than the 14-inch. The old models were thin and not heavy either... The problem with the current 16-inch is that it's just too thick and heavy. I bought the 14-inch because there were no other options... I'd personally prefer if Apple released an M4 Pro using the 2018 15-inch or 2019 16-inch design, even if the battery life is shorter compared to the current massive 16-inch, I'd still go for it... 这我个人并不是很同意……我用过2018款15寸MacBook pro，2019款16寸的，2023款14寸的，仅从屏幕大小而言，15寸和16寸的比14寸的舒服太多了，并且老款模具很薄也不沉……但现在的16寸的问题是它实在太厚重了，买14寸是因为别无他选……我个人宁愿苹果出一个用2018款15寸或者2019款16寸模具的m4 pro，就算续航相比现在的巨无霸16寸缩短我也愿意……

: "Canxue" means the M4 chip has 12 CPU cores and 16 GPU cores, while the "full version" has 14 CPU and 20 GPU cores. It doesn't make a huge difference—it just depends if you want to pay an extra $450 for those extra cores. If it were me, I'd rather spend $400 to upgrade the RAM from 24GB to 48GB, since that'll have more impact on daily use. 残血就是M4芯片是12CPU+16GPU的，满血是14+20的；影响不大，就看你愿意不愿意加450换这几个核了，当然如果是我会花400刀把内存从24G升级到48G，因为这很关系到日常使用

回复 @匿名用户 : If you plan to use it for a long time, don't hesitate, just get the Pro; you won't need to replace it for years. If you only use the laptop's own screen, then the 16-inch Pro is still the way to go. Like me, I mostly connect to an external monitor, so the 14-inch is much more portable. I currently have the 16-inch, and it's too big to use 打算用久的话 别犹豫，就pro，几年都不用换的。如果你只用电脑自己的屏幕那还是16寸的pro。 像我大都接显示器用，14寸便携很多。我现在是16寸的，用着太大

回复 @匿名用户 : Unless you only use the laptop screen and don't connect an external monitor, in that case, if you don't need very strong performance, I suggest getting a large-screen Air instead.
