Editor's Pick: Carry it all day for outdoor shoots without feeling weighed down, and the folded length fits perfectly in a carry-on side pocket. The leg angle selectors can be easily flicked with either hand, so shooting flowers or water at low angles doesn't require crouching on the ground fiddling for ages. The twist locks turn crisply and set up sturdy, paired with the 496 ball head for smooth leveling, and it stays solid even with a telephoto lens mounted.
