Many users say kids can't put this microscope down, it's easy to operate and simple to get started with, and it can observe the surface of all kinds of objects. Editor's Pick: Kids can crouch in the yard, pick up a leaf, and stare at it for ages. The 2-inch screen magnifies leaf veins right before their eyes, so there's no need to squint into an eyepiece. At 500X magnification, petal patterns and insect wings look quite clear, and kids can take photos to save them. Charge it once and take it out — whether camping or at the beach, just pull it out and play. Way more fun than staring at a tablet.
