Editor's Pick: When the kids are restless at home on the weekend, this pottery wheel keeps them busy for hours right on the table. The speed is adjustable—start slow to build steady hands, then speed up once they get the hang of it. The kit comes complete with clay, paint, and tools. Shape a cup, let it dry, paint it, and displaying the finished piece on the bookshelf feels pretty rewarding. Adults can join in too and unwind together.
