: I originally picked a bunch, but then remembered the recent buzz on Douyin about sodium dehydroacetate. I checked and found that almost all the little breads and cakes in Mainland China contain this additive. If you eat these often, you might want to change your diet. Eating them occasionally isn’t a big deal, but too much is really bad for your health. Definitely don’t give them to kids. Better to make it yourself!
