Editor's Pick: For that shady spot in your yard with little sunlight, regular grass seed always comes up sparse and patchy. This tall fescue has a deep root system, tolerates shade and foot traffic, so it holds up even when kids and dogs are running on the lawn. You'll see sprouts in about one to two weeks, and one bag covers 5,000 square feet, perfect for fall overseeding.
