Editor's Pick: If you have pets at home or are prone to allergies, you'll need to change your filters more often than you'd think. This one does a great job capturing dust, pollen, and pet dander, and its three-layer construction keeps airflow smooth in and out without putting extra strain on your AC. With 12 filters per box and a change every three months, one box lasts three years. Set a reminder on your phone so you don't forget to swap it out.
