Editor's Pick: This set is designed for adults to build, with 830 pieces. Once assembled, it looks great on a desk with a sci-fi vibe. The spaceship itself is recreated in miniature scale and comes with a display stand featuring a hand crank. Turn the crank to send the crew cabin into "orbit," simulating the centrifugal gravity system from the original story. The box also includes minifigures of the main characters Ryland Grace and Rocky — fans of the novel will get a kick out of that. You can view 3D instructions in the LEGO Builder app, which makes the building process much easier. The finished model with the stand is about 12 inches (30 cm) tall, perfect for a bookshelf or office desk.
